Qian, Yongshen 
Senior Advisor of Beijing Transportation Research Center

Mr. QuanYongshen is a professorate senior engineer and doctoral supervisor, who has participated in or managed researches on major transport planning, transport policies, and transport development strategies over a long period of time. Mr. Quan wasdirector of Beijing Transportation Research Center, and has successively worked in Beijing Urban Planning Administration and Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning & Design (BICP). Now he is the council member of the professional Traffic Committee of Systems Engineering Society of China, vice chairman of Academic Committee of Urban Transport Planning of China, executive director of Beijing Urban Planning Society, and a professional transportation advisor of Beijing Municipal Government.



Mao, Qizhi 
Professor and PhD Advisor in Qinhua University

Mr Mao Qizhi holds Doctor's degree in Engineering, and acts as a professor and doctoral supervisor. Now he is deputy director of Institute of Architectural and Urban Studies of Tsinghua University, and deputy director of Center for Science Human Settlements of Tsinghua University. He has been coaching in the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University since 1985, and successively served as visiting scholars at University of British Columbia in Canada, University of Stuttgart in Germany, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Pennsylvania in USA. He became deputy dean of the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University from 2004 to 2013. Concurrent academic posts: member of professional Urban-Rural Planning Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, deputy director of Standardization Technical Committee of Urban-Rural Planning, deputy director of National Steering Committee of Urban and Rural Planning Education in China; executive director of Chinese Society for Urban Studies, deputy director of Chinese Historical and Cultural Cities Council; deputy executive editor of Urban Planning in China (English version), and deputy editor-in-chief of Report on City Development in China. He was honored as academician of International Academy of Sciences for Europe and Asia (IASEA) in 2005, and was elected vice chairman of World Society of Ekistics twice, respectively in 2005 and 2008. He is also the winner of multiple awards: "National Excellent Scientists", "National Golden Award for Excellent Engineering Design", first prize of "Outstanding Urban Planning and Design" awarded by Ministry of Construction and first prize of "Beijing Excellent Village Planning and Design".


He, Dongquan 
Researcher, China Urban Research Institute, Tsinghua University

Doctor of environmental science and engineering, Tsinghua University, associate researcher. He has successively served as researcher of Argonne National Laboratory of the U.S. Department of energy, vice president of the project of the energy foundation, and researcher of China Urban Research Institute of Tsinghua University. Mr. He has long been committed to promoting low-carbon green city construction and transportation system development, reducing urban carbon dioxide emissions and promoting urban sustainable development. He has presided over a number of urban sustainable development projects such as new town low-carbon planning, old city reconstruction, green transportation system planning and design, urban public transport system optimization and so on, Organized and participated in the formulation of corresponding academic research regulations and technical standards.



Wang, Jiangyan
Executive Director of China Sustainable Transportation Center

Ms. Wang Jiangyan is the Executive Director of China Sustainable Transportation Center. She has twenty years of extensive experiences in research, design and project management of urban and transportation planning. She has conducted and managed projects in USA, China, Australia, UAE, India and Malaysia in the area of TOD, BRT, large events, travel demand model, regional and urban transportation. She is also deeply involved in research and academic activities.


Jiang, Yang
Program Director of China Sustainable Transportation Center

Mr. Jiang holds Master of Science and MCP from MIT, and Master of Architecture from Tsinghua University. Jiang has working experience at the World Bank, IBI Group, Aedas Architects as consultant or project assistant. Jiang’s major interests include carbon emission evaluation for urban planning/ transportation projects, and TOD and NMT system planning and design.
